• Question: what would happen if we could bring dinosaurs back would it be Jurassic Park or would we be able to tame the dinosaurs and have dinosaur pets

      I’m not so sure about the pets. They’d be pretty expensive to house and feed, never mind the smell! I’d imagine it would be some kind of safari style reserve but it would probable need to be a huge open space. Don’t know how it would work in partnership with local communities and farms though. Would they prey on people’s livestock or eat their crops?

      I think it would probably be like jurassic park where the dinosaurs would attack us because we are a threat

      I’ll be honest… I have to be convinced that we could revive dinosaurs. But the question would they be dinosaurs or hybrids with currently existing reptiles or birds? I think the latter as in the movie. What happens then is anyone’s guess!

    Assuming we could bring dinosaurs back, we don’t know enough about their psycology, social structures or other factors to determine whether they could be domesticated or would make good pets. The closest we have to dinosaurs are birds and you might be able to draw something from their behaviour, but there’s such a large evolutionary gap between modern birds and dinosaurs or even within dinosaurs that they may not be a good guide . It would be fun if dinosuars could be domesticated. I rather like the idea of having miniature triceratops charging about the living room.
