  Every black hole has a boundary called the ‘Event Horizon’. Once something crosses this boundary it cannot escape, not even light. This is why they appear black. We know gravity becomes stronger closer to the centre of the black hole, causing stretching of objects (or Spaghettification). But the truth is, we still don’t really know what happens inside.
