Question: whats your favourite thing you've discovered so far?

My favourite thing would be when I was researching galaxies that collide/merge together, I didn’t realise that could happen on such massive scales which I thought was really cool and you can see some really beautiful photos if you look online at ‘stephan’s quintet’. These interactions can be really violent where galaxies fight for star resources to keep themselves alive, it honestly sounds like something out of a movie. My research was looking at what happens to a galaxies ability to produce new stars while they collide, but it changes every time because every interaction is different, sometimes they are given more resources so they can make more stars or other times they might have all their resources taken away from them!
