      When I started university for my undergraduate course I wanted to pursue research in astrophysics but I really didn’t know what area I wanted to go into. After my degree I found what I was passionate about which is stars and galaxies and pursued PhDs in that area. Post-PhD I’m not entirely sure what I’d like to do! Whether it’s working for a space company like NASA, ESA and UKSA or continuing research in postdoc positions at different institutions. There is also opportunity to pursue data science – since you learn lots and lots of transferrable skills whilst working with huge data sets. I’m open minded!
