About Me:
Born in London, live in Hertford. Evenings and spare time largely spent with the family dog and getting lots of walking done. Spend time helping friends and family and enjoy my own space relaxing in solitude at home. A mathematical and scientific mind and enjoy the science of people too.

How I use Science in my work:
Data and systems are where I use science (maths) in my work. Analysing, trend reporting and many linked to percentage performance where we have what are called KPIs, key performance indicators where need to match to these to be successful. Profit and loss for budget. Not me directly in my field of work, but additional engineering knowledge to understand the work carried out in the construction sites, i.e. for lifting heavy items the physics of the centre of gravity for safe lifting.

What did you want to be after you left school?
My first thought was teaching, though I did not pursue this I keep active with my joy in helping other with mentoring and coaching.
Were you ever in trouble at school?
I was generally a well behaved student at school, I liked to work hard and if there was to be any additional time at school I did not ever want it to be for detention. i never had a detention other than when the whole class was held back for 5 or 10 minutes.
If you weren't doing this job, what would you choose instead?
Probably something closer to people, mental health worker / counsellor.
Who is your favourite singer or band?
This varies on mood!
What's your favourite food?
Eating out will be a nice Indian restaurant, but day to day I do like my vegetables and a nice bread is delightful.
If you had 3 wishes for yourself what would they be? - be honest!
Good health for all - physical and mental health. A lottery win so I could give up work and become a foster career.
