      Most drug discovery research actually doesn’t end up being a real drug that people can take. It takes a lot of work, and sometimes a bit of luck. But every potential drug brings us closer to curing diseases. During my masters I designed a drug that ended up revealing very bad effects, but now we can make safer drugs knowing that.
