Hi, great question! One of the most reactive chemicals is fluorine or ‘F’. It reacts very easily with other chemicals. We have to be very careful with fluorine in my laboratory, and we use lots and lots of safety equipment. Fluorine is the most reactive element because it quickly joins with other substances to make new chemicals. For example, it can react with metals, non-metals, plastics, and even some materials that do not react, like glass.
