Question: i am interested in becoming a paleontologist or at least being able to work with them via being a technician, what advice would you give me and what science do you think i would have to specifically study?

A fabulous and engaging field for which I have great respect and interest. I imagine that there is a lot of grafting and few dramatic discovery moments but considerable satisfaction. Not however likely to make much money.

To be a palaeontologist you will need to do science A levels. Few schools offer geology, but chem, maths and biology would be a good combination. That would get you into Uni to do a BSc in geology. Once there, you can choose from various options, including palaeontology. In fact, I chose igneous and metamorphic petrology and mineralogy, with only a little palaeontology. After the BSc, you might go on to do a PhD in some field or other in palaeontology. There are very few career opportunities in palaeolontology compared to geophysics or mineralogy, most are in museums or as a university lecturer.
