Question: How long did you go to university for

I studied Maths and Physics at University for 4 years, including a masters project (1 year research project).
I then did a PhD (long research project) at Durham University for 4 years.I am now a postdoc at Newcastle University and have been here for 3 years 🙂
So in total 8 years at University, although most people do 3 or 4!

I went to university for four years as well to do a Master’s degree in Physics! My university offered a combined bachelor’s and master’s degree so I did that, but a lot of people also graduated after 3 years with a bachelor’s.
