0 Question: How fast or slow does time travel in a black hole? Keywords: black hole, learn, research Asked by cate532wynd35 on 8 Apr 2026.
Martin McCoustra answered on 8 Apr 2026:
Time slows in a black hole as the black hole bends space which has the effect of making mass accelerate. Relativity then comes into place as the faster a mass moves, the slower time passes for that mass relative to an external observer.
