It’s complicated! In theory humans can survive up to 35°C wet bulb temperature (wet bulb temperature combines both the normal air temperature and humidity). In the UK we probably won’t reach this for a long time but other countries near the equator have sometimes reached it already. However, temperature changes can also lead to other consequences like ecological collapses and more extreme weather so we need to keep the change as low as possible!
