That’s a good question, I’ve been very privileged that I haven’t had any big obstacles in my way so far. The hardest thing I’ve done is writing my thesis, which is like a big report about the project I have worked on for 3.5 years. It will be as big as a book when I finish, so it has been a lot of hard work, but I keep going by knowing that it will be worth the effort in the end, and that the science is very worthwhile to do to try and help people who are sick

Honestly, the biggest challenge i have faced so far in the UK Geology jobs is competition for different jobs. There is a lot of people who would be a great fit for certain roles, however there is limited space in companies and sometimes limited funds. I think the industry is easier to get into in Australia and Canada from what i have heard.
