• Question: does every organism have the capability to eventually evolve to human intelligence if left long enough to change?

      That is a great question!
      Different organisms evolve in very very different ways, usually because they need to adjust to different environments and challenges like for example extreme weather conditions or a lot of competition for food/ shelter/ safety in their natural habitat.

      So a lot of times organisms evolve with a different motivation in mind, meaning that human intelligence might not be valuable to have for a different organism to survive 🙂
      Fun fact: many organisms have lived in earth waay before than humans, for example fish!

      Regarding human intelligence in specific, certain animals like chimpanzees already show human-like behavior. For example living in communities, having their own “law” and protection systems, fighting and cooperating. So “human” intelligence is already found in animal societies 🙂
