• Question: i am interested in becoming a paleontologist or at least being able to work with them via being a technician, what advice would you give me and what science do you think i would have to specifically study?

Most palaeontologists have studied geology, biology or chemistry, but there are lots of different routes into the science. If you’re interested in being a technician, it’s probably worth going to a university or museum palaeontology event or open day. You’d then be able to speak to staff members about their paths into the subject. The Lapworth Museum of Geology at the University of Birmingham is a good place to visit in this regard.
