Question: You mentioned that you weren’t sure what you wanted to do after school. So, how did you end up discovering your passion for chemistry?
What part of your work as a chemist do you enjoy the most?
Thanks for the question, I liked science at school but didn’t know what I wanted to do. My step dad saw an advert for a science technician in the newspaper (a long time ago now!), I applied and was lucky enough to get the job. Once I learned what was involved I became interested in organic chemistry (the chemistry of carbon) and things blossomed from there.
