Our bodies have multiple organs to make sure that everything functions well, such as blood that makes sure all the cells in our body have enough nutrients and oxygen. However, problems can still occur. We may eat too much of one type of food such that our bodies have too much of a nutrient, or not enough of another type of food such that we aren’t getting enough of a certain nutrient, microorganisms may cause an infection slowing down certain organs. This causes our bodies not to function as well, leading to illness.
