Question: Who is your favorite scientist and why?

Choosing a favourite is difficult, but one I have always been curious to find out more about is Marie Curie. I have visited the Pantheon in Paris where there is a memorial to Marie and her husband Pierre. However, I still have on my Paris bucket list to visit the Marie Curie Museum, which is located in one of her former laboratories, which I think would be a really interesting place to visit. To be able to see some of the original equipment she used and some of her written notes or photos would really bring her to life for me.
