Question: what made you pick oceanography?

I wrote an essay when I was in year 12 on how organisms in the deep ocean can survive without sunlight. The research for this is where I learnt oceanography exists and I realised the oceans were under threat from climate change. At that point I decided I wanted to study the ocean and contribute to research that might project them!
