Question: What is the grossest parasite you have ever seen?

The grossest one I have seen with my own eyes is a tapeworm. They can be very very long, longer than the animal they infect. They grow along the length of our intestines, so there is plenty of space for them to get huge!

I think horsehair worms are very scary and creepy too, but they mostly infect insects and I’ve never had the displeasure of seeing one in real life, only in videos.
