• Question: What do you do if you see a blackhole?

      The only way you’d see a black hole is the light given out by the hot gas spiralling down into the black hole. You couldn’t see the black hole itself as even light can’t get out of a black hole.

      If I was close enough to see the light from matter spiralling down into the black hole… I’d wave goodbye to the universe as I’d probably end up spiralling down into the hole!

      I did my entire essay at university on the maths of spaghettification! The short answer is try not to go towards it you probably won’t get back out…

      You take a picture and quickly send it out before you fall in. The picture might get into the news as has happened with the “black hole shadow” pictures recorded by the Event Horizon Telescope after many months of observing and data processing.

      Try not to panic would be my first thought! Something has defo gone wrong if you are face to face with a black hole lol
