• Question: Is your job boring or is it cool?

      It is so cool, I get to figure out what happens when two black holes collide with each other. But, sometimes that means writing complicated code and that can get a bit boring at times.

    In between the boring bits it is very cool. Unfortunately, in work life it’s never possible to completely avoid some boring bits.

    My job is super cool, but sometimes my friends joke that “It’s just moving files around!”. However they are very *big* files (genomes), very *important* files (personal data), and there are *lots* of them (millions). My computer screen always looks very cool with lots of code, but I do miss working in a lab.
