• Question: how do you think our air quality will change in 20 years if we keep doing what we are doing now in terms of climate change ? could it be reversable?

Air Quality and Climate change are similar but different. We are already making good progress towards improving our local air quality. However climate change is more of a challenge. If you think about electric vehicles, they are fantastic for air quality – no engine emissions! However, there are still carbon emissions associated with the production of the electricity and manufacture of the batteries. (overall they are still better than petrol though!). A key area will be stopping people burning in their homes – wood-fired burners produce a lot of particulate matter.
