This is not something I have explored. Science youtubers do exist, SciShow Kids have a variety of videos such as how to live on mars and another on different volcano types.

It’s not something I’ve ever done… But I know of some cool videos related to the chemistry of the elements… a Periodic Table of Videos… http://www.periodicvideos.com/.

I haven’t tried that, I’m not sure what type of videos kids would want… Do you have suggestions?

I have made videos for kids on light and x-rays! I haven’t put them on YouTube though, as i mostly made them for a school that i work with, however there are a couple on the STEM ambassadors platform so teachers can see them and show them to their classes. I have put them on LinkedIn (a grown up social media). Maybe i will put them on YouTube soon, but i get nervous about people being horrible and leaving horrible comments, which stops me from doing it.

This is something that I have considered doing, since it is a fun way to talk about what I do, and I would like more people, including children, to hear about it and be able to understand. However, the whole video-making and editing process sounds way too stressful and complicated for me, so currently I am working on other projects like making a video game and art about black holes!
