• Question: Do you intend to ever change your job or look into different professions in the future?

      Maybe. It isn’t my plan right now, but new and interesting things pop up, so I wouldn’t say I’d never change.

    I didn’t intend to but a change of job is happening in the future anyway. A side-effect of the shift from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles, there’s less demand for the catalysts I helped develop and manufacture and less need for new catalyst designs. When you’ve spent 20 years working to minimise the harm caused by vehicle emissions it’s bittersweet – the next logical step on the path but I’ll miss my friends and colleagues. I don’t plan at the moment to change professions, we’ll have to see what the futue brings.
