I work within the Energy Industry, working on changes to process plant and equipment.
Anywhere that you have a factory, or process – you need a Process Engineer! I help get fluids from A to B, whether that is getting oil and gas from offshore in the middle of the North Sea back onshore, or get gas into your home to keep you warm during the Winter.

My Typical Day:
I wake up in the morning and make a coffee and some breakfast. I usually start work at 8am, where I respond to emails and speak to my work colleagues.
At lunch, I go for a walk with my dog Bruno 🐶 and try enjoy some sunshine (difficult in Scotland during the Winter months). After lunch, I continue working until around 5pm.
In the evenings, I enjoy taking Bruno out for a walk, or going out on my bike 🚲

What I'd do with the prize money:
My local school competes in a Subsea ROV competition every year and I’d love to donate the money to them!
They compete in MATE (Marine Advanced Technology Education) ROV competition, which involves building and operating underwater robots to complete specific tasks. Mintlaw Academy consistently compete and are always looking for donations to assist with their ROV.

Own a bookshop. I love reading and having my own bookshop would be my ideal job! 📖
