Absolutely. They’re still alive on Earth today. Scientific research on fossils and living creatures has shown that birds are theropods, living relatives of dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor. Indeed, the smallest dinosaur that has ever lived is alive on Earth today – the Cuban bee hummingbird.

Yes, because they once were alive. So they’re real animals who have lived.
No, because they’re extinct. So now they don’t exist.
