      Yes, it already has, and it still is!

      Maths helps us build bridges and skyscrapers, send rockets into space, create computers and phones, predict the weather, and develop new medicines.

      Every time you use Google Maps, stream a video, or unlock your phone or computer, maths is working behind the scenes.

      Even things like artificial intelligence, climate modelling, and designing new sustainable materials (like in my own research) rely very heavily on maths.

      Very probably, especially if you count quantum computing as maths

      Maths is the language of universe. It helps us undertand small things like how much bananas a dozen have to big things like how old is the universe. It has been our guide to understand and thus help change how we look at the world.
