Question: What sources do you recommend a 13-15 year old if they want to look into sea life / sea studies? (Preferably one that gives you a lot of key information to study)
Good question! There are a bunch of great books out there, if you are into reading. For example “The Sea Around Us” by Rachel Carson or “Sea Change: A Message of the Oceans” by Sylvia Earle. There are also great blogs like NOAA Ocean Explorer or The Ocean Portal (Smithsonian Institution). And youtube has loads of documentaries to get you started in all the strange and wonderful subjects of marine sciences as well.
I’m reading the brilliant abyss by Helen Scales and would highly recommend it. Fantastic book. One book I read before I studied was Into the Deep (I think it’s called). Very interesting book.
