• Question: Do you ever regret your choice of career?

      I’m quite lucky in that I still very much enjoy my job. It’s quite varied and at times challenging so that keeps things interesting.

      I have never regretted my choice of career. However, what i did learn is nothing has to remain the same, the skills you learn you can apply to other jobs and allow you to switch. I specialised in one area of chemistry for over 10 years. I don’t regret doing it, however, one day i realised i did not enjoy it as much as a related part of my job. So i took the opportunity to switch and change direction. All of the experience I gained I still use today and in fact makes me better at the job I currently do.
