I would like to see the Bramble Cay melomys – a small rodent from a sandy Australian island. It went extinct only ten years ago because of the rising water levels linked to climate change – the island on which it lived got flooded, and that was it.
I would like to figure out if there’s any way in which we could have prevented the extinction.

Maybe a giant sloth, or a dodo, or an archeopteryx.. I’d like to see so many!

I would travel back 425 million years ago to when Dudley and the West Midlands were covered in a shallow, tropical sea, a bit like modern-day Fiji. All sorts of weird and wonderful creatures lived in those waters, including two of my favourites: Lepidocoleus, which was a worm in a suit of armour, and Lepidaster, a 13-armed starfish!
