Question: how long did it take to get into what you do?

It took me 4 years to get a Masters degree in Aeronautical engineering. Although most graduate schemes don’t require a masters degree it gave me an edge in the application process. I managed to get on my graduate scheme straight after university so I only had to wait around 4 months before starting. Switching from Aircraft to Ships was hard however I am developing a better understanding. The Maths and Physics involved with the 2 are actually quite similar.
