  The solar system is very cool. The interesting thing about our solar system is that we have such a variety of cool stuff. Although most of it is just empty space the planets are amazing. There are huge volcanoes, icy planets, solid planets, gas planets, incredibly hot planets and incredibly cold planets, there are rings, there are storms!

  It’s so close to us and impacts us every day! It’s so cool that we can launch satellites to measure what is actually there in situ (which means directly in it rather than taking a picture or something).
