Hi everyone, an engine in rocket terms is a little different to some other industries. I work a little bit with rocket engines. There’s different forms of engine but the main type involves using a liquid fuel (like the fuel in your car) and a liquid oxidiser (like oxygen). These two liquids are pumped into a combustion chamber at very high pressure where they are ignited. It then makes fire and gets shot out the bottom of the rocket.
