No, Albert Einstein died due to an aneurysm later in life, not due to an experiment.

But there are many scientists who have died due to their research. Perhaps most notably, Marie Skłodowska Curie died due to a type of anaemia caused by radiation poisoning. Others have died due to exposure to viruses, bacteria or chemicals they were working with, or inventions failing.

We are definitely a bit stricter on health and safety these days to avoid things like this happening!
