Not really, I had an idea of a career in science that I wanted to try. I went to university to become a physics researcher and work in a lab.
But since I changed my mind monthly when I was deciding what to study at university, I knew there was a chance I would change my mind again.
Which I did once I was introduced to programming and control systems, I ended up changing from a in-depth theoretical physics course to one with physics and instrumentation.
