CERN is where physicists are discovering the basic building blocks of the universe. It’s where anti-matter and dark energy are being probed deepest. It’s the ultimate physics lab.
This Thursday lunchtime is your chance to meet scientists working at CERN: Joel Goldstein, co-discoverer of the Higgs Bosun; Sinead Eley, researching dark matter; Kay Dewhurst, using silicon crystals to bend the beamline; and Daniel Moise, investigating the universe’s basic building blocks.
The Chat opens at 12pm: https://crookes.imascientist.org.uk/talk/
You can drop in for a few minutes or stay the whole two hours. Join from your phone tablet, laptop, or school computer – whatever suits you.
See you there!
